Dr. Arshed Choudhry
Dr. Choudhry received his medical degree from the University of Sind in Pakistan. He completed his internship and residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 1975. He has been practicing in northern Virginia since 1987.
Dr. Choudhry is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He has served as a past Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at INOVA Loudoun Hospital and also a former Chief of Staff of INOVA Loudoun Hospital. Previously, he also served on the Medical Executive Committee. Lastly, he is a former President of the Medical Affairs Counsel for INOVA Hospital Systems.
Dr. Choudhry's particular areas of specialty are treatment of stress incontinence, pelvic floor prolapse, and minimally invasive surgery. His surgical skills include advanced reconstructive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse and urological stress incontinence.
Dr. Choudhry has served as a volunteer physician with Helping Hands, a charitable medical missions group. He has traveled to countries in South America performing gynecologic surgery among underserved populations. Specifically, he has traveled to Peru four times alone and completed about 80 GYN cases for those in need.
In this spare time, Dr. Choudhry enjoys reading and golf. He and his wife live in Great Falls, Virginia. He has two grown children. His son, Rahan, is in business administration and his daughter, Saba, is an Emergency Medicine physician. Most recently, Dr. Choudhry has obtained privileges to help patients birth at INOVA Loudoun Hospital's Natural Birth Center! He is truly an acclaimed physician loved by all that he meets.
